National Youth Administration Correspondence, 1941-1942.

Correspondence, 1941-1942, received and sent by Julius T. Nachazel, supervisor of the National Youth Administration's local vocational education program and a professor at the Michigan College of Mining and Technology (now Michigan Technological University) in Houghton, Michigan. As the supervisor of the War Training program held at the college under the auspices of the National Youth Administration, Nachazel's correspondence includes letters to and from the War Department, the State Board of Control for Vocational Education and the Federal Security Agency's National Youth Administration for Michigan as well as various companies trying to find supplies, recruit students and place graduates in jobs. Also includes correspondence from companies regarding unpaid invoices.
